Samsung has finally launched the 4G variant of its flagship model in India. The Samsung Galaxy S5 4G price in India is Rs.53,500 and it will be available starting July 20th.
The new Samsung Galaxy S5 4G is powered by 2.5GHz quad core Qualcomm 8974 Pro CPU and supports eight 4G LTE bands. It also features Download Booster and Wi-Fi MiMo technologies. Download Booster lets users access 4G and Wi-Fi simultaneously to download data faster. The fifth-generation Wi-Fi 802.11ac and 2X2 MIMO (Multi-Input Multi-Output) technology, which "equips Galaxy S5 with two internal Wi-Fi antennas to double the connection and accelerate the speed of Wi-Fi," the company said in a statement.
Rest of the features are same as the regular Galaxy S5 non 4G variant. That is 5.1-inch Super AMOLED display with 1920x1080p resolution, Android 4.4 (KitKat), 16GB internal storage, supports 128GB microSD cards and has 2GB RAM. The device also sports 16MP camera with LED flash and 2Mp front facing camera.
Samsung is providing all new and existing Airtel 4G subscribers 5GB of data free for two months with the purchase of Galaxy S5 4G. The South Korean company is also providing an upgrade offer of Rs 10,000 to allow consumers to buy the smartphone at a slightly lower price.

Currently in India, only Airtel and Aircel carriers only providing the 4G service. At this point of time, Indian 4G compatible devices are Apple iPhone 5S and 5C, LG G2 4G, Xolo LT900 and Oppo Find 7.
