Samsung has starting rolling out Android Kitkat firmware update to its Galaxy Grand 2 smartphones. New firmware update comes with features of Android 4.4.2 and updated Touchwiz user interface.
Samsung has opted to release these update to its Indian customers first. That too for the Galaxy Grand 2 Dual sim variants which are already started receiving notification of latest firmware update. Rest of the world including the single sim variants will receive the update in the coming weeks.
Updating through Kies Samsung PC suite is not yet available. But according to the source Kitkat update through Kies PC suite will start soon. The whole update is around 360MB. So if you opt for OTA update, then download the update through WiFi. It is preferable as data connectivity issue may hinder your update process.

How to Update Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 to Android 4.4.2 Kitkat?
