Major smartphone maker Samsung has launched a triple sim Android smartphone. It is the first triple sim smartphone by Samsung. The Samsung Galaxy Star Trios will be targeting to the emerging markets such as India, Malasia, Brazil etc.
Samsung Galaxy Star Trios currently available in Brazil. It sports 3.14 inch QVGA display screen with a resolution of 240x320 pixels. The Star Trios is powered by 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 processor with 512MB of RAM. There is an also a 2MP primary shooter. The internal storage capacity of the device is 4GB and supports microSD card upto 32GB.
The connectivity feature of Samsung Galaxy Star Trios are 2G, 3G, WiFi, USB tethering, WiFi tethering and Bluetooth. This triple sim smartphone runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The device will be available on Black and white color variants. The price of Samsung Galaxy Star Trios will be $165 in Brazil. The price in India is not yet revealed.
Earlier LG has also launched Optimus L1 II Tri triple sim smartphone for the Brazilian market.
