How to take screenshot on Samsung Galaxy Note3

Taking a screen shot or a print on screen on Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is very easy. You can take screen shot by four method. All these are inbuilt features of Galaxy Note 3. So you might be thinking what is the purpose of taking the screen shot on a smartphone? The reason is simple, you can share some important settings or highest scores through social media or through mails which might be useful for them.

How to Take Screen shot or Print screen on Samsung Galaxy Note 3

Method 1: Home + Power button to take screen shot on Galaxy Note 3 
This is the oldest and a standard feature of all Android smartphones. Starting Android 4.0 ICS, this feature is enabled.
  • Just press and hold the Home button+Power button. You will hear a shutter sound and the screen shot will be saved on gallery.
Method 2: Using Handswipe to Take screen on Galaxy Note 3:
This is a Samsung's proprietary features started with Galaxy S3. Below are the step to take screen shot or print screen on Samsung Galaxy Note 3 by hand swipe.
To use this feature you need to enable the palm motion in your smartphone. You  can do that by following steps.
  • Apps->Settings->Controls-> Palm motion. enable it by swiping the box. Then go to capture screen and enable that too.
Now to take screen shot follow the below steps.
  • Now place your hand on the right side of the display screen covering whole screen vertically. 
  • Swipe your hand from right to left. The screen shot will taken with a shutter sound. As usual, screen shot will be saved in the gallery folder.
Method 3: Taking screen shot using the S-pen.
This is a  new feature added on Note 3. For following this steps, keep your S-pen stylus ready.
  • Using the S-Pen, press and hold on a screen which you want to take snapshot.
  • Screen shot will be captured. You will be provided with a option to edit the taken print screen.
Method 4:  Another way of taking the screenshot using S-Pen and Air command features of Galaxy Note 3
This is also simple method but takes little extra time.
  • Take your S-Pen stylus near the display screen. Now press and hold the button on the S-Pen to get Air command menu.
  • From the menu options, select take a screen shot option.
How to access print screen or screen shots recorded.
The screen shots  taken with 1st, 2nd and 4th methods are saved in the Gallery->Screenshots folder.
The screenshot taken with method 3 will be saved in the Gallery->IMG_edited.
