There is a good news for the Windows phone lovers. Nokia has unveiled new Budget Lumia smartphone. The major highlight of the device is 1GB of RAM. It is a big step forward considering the other Lumia smartphones such as Lumia 520, Lumia 620, Lumia 625 or even Lumia 720 comes with only 512MB of RAM. The Nokia Lumia 525 price and availability is not yet revealed.
The latest Nokia Lumia 525 runs on Windows phone 8 with the Lumia Black update. It has 4 inch IPS LCD screen with screen resolution of 480X800 pixels and pixel density of 235 ppi. The device is powered by 1GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor alongside 1GB of RAM. The inbuilt storage of the device is 8GB and supports microSD card upto 64GB for additional storage. Like other Lumia smartphones, this device too comes with free 7GB of SkyDrive cloud storage.
Nokia Lumia 525 sports 5MP primary rear camera. Unfortunately there is no LED flash and front facing camera. The camera of the device features Nokia Smart Camera Cinemagraph lens, Panorama lens, and Bing vision with other image tweaking options namely touch to focus, landscape orientation, auto and manual exposure, and geo-tagging.
Nokia Lumia 525 packs 1430 mAh battery which is rated to provide 17 hours of talk time and upto 336 hours of standby time. The connectivity of the Lumia 525 includes Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, A-GLONASS and 3G. You can even use Nokia Lumia 525 as modem to share the data to the other devices through WiFi. The Nokia Proprietary apps such as HERE Drive, HERE Maps, and HERE Transit are also preinstalled out of the box.
