Sony is seeding update to its flasgship model Sony Xperia Z. The build number of the update is 10.1.A.1.434 however there is no change in the Android version and it stays 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and also the Kernal version seems to be same 3.4.0.
There is no official change log for this new firmware update. But it is said to be addressing the sudden-death issue of Sony Xperia Z. The update is not meant to add any new functionality and targeted to fix the known issues of Xperia Z.
Sony is seeding this new bug fix update in stages via Sony PC companion tool and OTA(Over The Air). You can check in both the ways and if found unavailable as of now, then it will pop up in next few days.
