Samsung Kies desktop software can sync your Samsung Tablet or Samsung smartphone to PC. Samsung Kies can backup contacts, call log, SMS/MMS messages, and media files and also specific apps, like S Planner and S Memo which are there in Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy S3.

- You need to download and install Samsung PC suite to your system. You can download the right version of Samsung Kies from Here.
- Connect your Samsung Tablet or Smartphone to your PC through USB cable
- Launch Samsung Kies application. You will get a page with basic details of your device as shown in the below image.
- Click on the Backup/Restore Tab which is available in the top center of the Kies interface. You can either choose all the item or you can choose individual data. Scroll down the screen till the end and click on Backup Button.
- It will take some time depending on the size of the data to be back up. Once completed you will get a confirmation message. Click on 'Complete'.
- Your back up process is complete now
Restoring Samsung Samsung Tablets or Smartphones from the Back up data:
- Goto Backup/Restore Tab which we have used in 4 th step for Backup, Scroll down till the end and click on Restore button. You will get a warning message alerting closing running application. Click Continue.
- Select the data you want to restore which you want to restore the back up to your device. Once you selected, Click on Next
- Once the Restore completes, you will see a confirmation dialog box and your device will restart to complete Restore process.
