HTC has announced the 4G LTE HTC One SV smartphone. This smartphone will hit the UK stores in the coming weeks. The exact pricing and availability of the device are not yet revealed. Peter Chou, CEO of HTC said during the launch event that, "The HTC One SV heralds the next generation of smartphone performance and lightning fast mobile Internet,We’re delighted to help fuel the spread of 4G LTE networks worldwide with models that enable our customers to enjoy web browsing, movie streaming and Internet radio more quickly and more smoothly than ever before."
HTC new 4G LTE One SV will sports 4.3 inch Super LCD2 capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels and Corning Gorilla Glass 2 protection. The device runs on Android 4.0 ICS OS with HTC Sense User Interface. HTC One SV is powered by Dual core 1.2GHz snapdragon S4 processor with 1GB of RAM. The built in storage capacity is 8GB which can be further expanded through microSD card upto 32GB. Like other HTC Android smartphone this smartphone too comes with Beats Audio sound enhancement.
HTC One SV supports 4G LTE with HSDPA speeds up to 42 Mbps. The device has 5MP auto focus primary camera with LED flash which can shoot video at 1080p. There is 1.6MP front facing camera too for video calling. HTC provides bundled 25GB of Dropbox cloud storage.
HTC has recently launched many budget and mid range Android ICS running smartphones such as HTC Desire C, HTC One S, HTC Desire SV. It is interesting to see whether HTC will launch HTC One SV in other markets apart from US.
