HTC officially announced Butterfly Smartphone which is a GSM version of HTC J Butterfly released in Japan two months ago. This is the new flagship smartphone of HTC.
HTC Butterfly sports 5 inch Super LCD3 capacitive touchscreen with screen resolution of 1080*1920(Full HD) which results in amazing 441 ppi pixel density. The screen has Cornering Gorilla Glass 2 protection. This smartphone has one of the best display screen beating iPhone retinal display interms of screen resolution. The device is powered by Quad core 1.5GHz Krait processor with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 320 GPU.
HTC Butterfly runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Operating system with HTC Sense 4+ User interface. The inbuilt memory of the device is 16GB(11GB user available) and the smartphone supports microSD card memory expansion upto 32GB.
HTC Butterfly has 8 mega pixel with auto focus and LED flash. The camera is capable of recording Full HD 1080p videos at 30fps with stereo sound recording. There is a 2.1MP front facing camera which is also capable of recording 1080p videos.
